Raft Rental

Raft Rental Rates:

Shuttle Services:
- Vehicle Shuttle @ $40/vehicle (includes parking)

- Floating Device Launch / Take Out Fee @ $5/person
- Children Age 4 and under - Free of charge

Notes & Policies:

  • Check-In & parking for the day is at the Red Cabin, located at 12000 Timber Road, Devils Elbow, MO (see map below)

  • Take-Off Times are at 9am, 10:30am & Noon Only

  • You can not float unless a signed waiver form has been collected by a DERS&C Employee for EACH floater

  • Canoes, rafts, kayaks, and tubes must be returned and off the water before 7pm on the day rented or subject to extra fees

  • Floating rates include life vests, paddles, trash bags and portage to our put-in locations. Take-Out spot is at the campground.

  • Fees will be assessed for all lost paddles, life vests or floating devices

  • Children under the age of 7 must wear a life jacket at all times while on board a watercraft

  • NEW MISSOURI LAW: No glass, beer bongs, kegs or styrofoam coolers

  • Registered paid guests will be provided with color coded wristbands to be worn while camping with us, riding shuttle buses, and during all float trips on certain days.

  • Due to safety concerns, children under 2 years old will not be allowed to float

  • Rain Policy: Should it be raining the morning of your scheduled float trip and is still raining at 12 noon, you will be issued a rain check for the date of your choice based upon availability. No refunds.

  • Highwater/Flood Policy: We do not float if the determination is made by state officials of management that ricer levels are beyond safe canoeing, kayaking or rafting standards. Should this occur, a raincheck will be issued

  • While on the river there is inherent risk that personal awareness and commonsense can reduce. Never attempt a float trip while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We ask that you use our canoes, rafts, kayaks and equipment with the same degree of care as if they were your own.

  • In the event a canoe or raft is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, then we expect to be reimbursed appropriately in relation to the damage. If you abandon your canoe or raft or it is lost or stolen, you will be asked to pay for it. We charge for lost or abandon paddles and life vest.

  • Absolutely no pets are allowed in rafts or tubes

  • Do not tie trash bags onto others & please throw your trash in the dumpster upon leaving the campground

  • Float trip discounts available for large groups of at least 10 vessels rented, call for details/quote at 573-855-4733.

  • Day Guest/Visitor’s Pass: Day passes available for $5 per person to swim & fish

  • All personal blow up floating devices must be pre-aired or aired up at the river by you. All extra floating devices must be communicated to management before the day of the float.

  • Please Note: We are still under construction from the November 2024 flood. Please be patient with us while we rebuild.

  • NEW the 2025 Season:

    • All floating fees need to be paid in full when booking your reservation

    • Cancellation Policy:

      • A 100% deposit is required for camping, lodging, floating and group packages to guarantee your reservation.

        • On non-holiday weekends/weekdays, if you cancel 14 days prior to your reservation date we will refund your deposit minus a $30 processing fee.

        • On holiday weekends, you will need to cancel 21 days prior to your reservation date for a refund minus a $30.00 processing fee.

      • If you cancel your reservation any time AFTER the stated cancellation deadlines listed above this will result in the full deposit amount forfeited. If river flooding is an issue and it is not float-able there will not be a refund for the boat reservation. Your deposit will go on a rain check good for one year.
